TCB BOLT

TCB Bolt (Tension Control Bolts) installing pre-loaded or High Strength bolts. As they are commonly known throughout the world. And replacing high strength friction grip bolts. TCB is a heavy duty bolt used in steel frame construction. The head is usually domed and is not designed to be driven. The end of the shank has a spline on it which is engaged by a special power wrench.Which prevents the bolt from turning while the nut is tightened.

Are replacing conventional high strength friction grip bolts.  Because they are quick and easy to install using lightweight Electric Shear Wrenches.  Guaranteed tension together with visual inspection removes the likelihood of operator error and ensures engineers that connections are tightened in accordance with specifications.
